An ‘Eggcellent’ Enrichment Week!

This past week, our learners have taken part in a Humanities enrichment week with a focus on ‘historical figures’. Young people were tasked with a project which required them to apply their literacy, research and presentation skills to identify and research a person who has demonstrated an impact in the world in the past (or present).

Learners produced ‘egg’ characters to accompany their research, engaging in cross-curricular learning which included art and design, history, English and ICT as well as significant exposure to local, national and global cultural capital. Our learners really eggs-pressed their creative sides and it was clear that we have a huge number of young people who are now eggs-perts in relation to chosen icon!

The results really speak for themselves and a massive well done to all involved in the week!
