Exploring the Arts

On Wednesday and Thursday last week, our students took the opportunity to ‘Explore the Arts’ through a range of styles, mediums and materials. The two days culminated in a visual showcase during whole school assembly. Our students (and staff!) produced some fantastic pieces which captured the exploratory nature of the days with students working creatively to produce some authentic works of art. On Thursday, a group of our students also visited the ‘Have a Word’ Podcasting Studio where they learned how to create and produce a podcast, looking at how life experiences shape the people we become – the final edit will be with us soon!
